Having been raised under the warmth of the African sun, on a diet of Portuguese chicken, Soul, Latin and Kwaito, it was the discovery of House music at a tender age that proved to be a defining moment. 2003 saw his first steps into the world of the DJ and it wasn’t long before he creating his very own beats with G.Family and releasing first on south African labels Soulcandi and House Afrika followed by Realtone and Earthrumental, the esteemed labels of Frank Roger and Deepershades Recordings. Following in 2010 a successful participation in London’s Red Bull Music Academy, Jullian stayed on, hooked up with UK house don Atjazz and set about widening his musical horizons, on an eternal quest to widen his musical horizons with shuffled claps and electronic soul.
